A workshop of personal dream exploration into how we can use our dreams for self-diagnosis and self-healing. Through dreaming we can grow more creative relations with our physicians as well as with our families, draw on energy and guidance from deeper sources than the everyday mind, and connect with the deeper story of our lives. When we share and use the images given to us in dreams, we find that we open ourselves to new possibilities of healing.

In this workshop we will first explore simple techniques for using a waking or sleep dream image as a healing visualization. For those who do not recall their dreams or have difficulty recalling a dream we will explore a simple technique for re-capturing a waking or sleep dream image. We will then spend time with individual dreams. The dreamer will explore writing stories and poems using the content from their waking or sleeping dream images and will explore techniques for creating active meditations from dreams or waking images.

Participants will then work with dreams and/or intuitive responses to develop a healing collage, a hands-on project developed by Sheila Asato, which provides remarkable insight into waking and sleeping concepts of the body/mind relationship.
